SSU5200 CPE
The symmetry SSU5200 is an outdoor WiMAX subscriber station (SS) that supports a variety of applications for small and medium enterprises, multi-dwelling and multi-tenant units (MDU/MTU), and residential users.
Using the SSU5200, operators can maximize revenues by offering subscribers multiple differentiated services at guaranteed grades of service concurrently. To reduce capital expenses, operators can connect several IP devices to the same SSU5200.
The SSU5200 supports all the mandatory 802.16-2004 WiMAX features. It also implements key optional WiMAX features, such as Space-time Coding, Sub-channeling, diversity, ARQ, and advanced QoS, so that symmetry delivers the best-in-class spectral efficiency and NLOS range.
The SSU5200 consists of an outdoor unit, which houses the transceiver and integrated antenna, and an indoor unit, which provides power and interconnection to both the outdoor unit and the subscriber's IP networking devices.
